The Nutrition Impact at Scale Program is aimed at attaching a ‘nutrition lens’ to Nakuru Box’s work with SMEs to achieve large-scale and accelerated nutrition impact for the masses in Nakuru and Nyandarua Counties. By providing actionable knowledge, practical tools, and access to finance, the program aims to help Agri-Food SMEs develop strategies to enhance the nutritional value of their food products, comply with food safety and quality standards, and fine-tune their business models for growth and scalability.
Overall, it represents an important and innovative approach to addressing the ongoing challenge of malnutrition in Kenya. By equipping Agri-Food SMEs with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to enhance their nutrition impact, the program has the potential to make a real difference in the lives of millions of Kenyans.

Nakuru Box Innovation Centre with support from Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), is dedicated to empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Agri-Food sector. Our goal is to enhance the capacity of these enterprises to produce safe, nutritious, and affordable food, making a significant impact on food security and public health in our communities.
